Gentle Flow and Power Flow Yoga
Pamela is a certified Baptiste-inspired yoga teacher who brings 25 years of experience and training as a chiropractor to her yoga teaching. By integrating an understanding of anatomy, posture, and alignment with the power of the breath, Pamâ€™s class emphasizes developing a practice of spinal self-care. Her approach to teaching yoga is very gentle and restorative in nature, but also works on the principles of alignment and core strengthening. Her personal practice includes many styles of yoga, including Hatha, Anusara, Inyengar, and Bikram.
Pamela has been an avid and passionate practitioner of yoga since age 15, and has always had an interest in a natural, holistic approach to health. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West, and has completed two years of post-graduate work in Behavioral Medicine, a branch of Psychology, at University of the Pacific.
