Certified Personal Trainer
Jen had always been active and had been a certified massage therapist for 20 years in Marin County when she suddenly found herself noticeably overweight and had her bodyfat measured at 29%. She was determined to change her life and her body and so she hired a personal trainer and in 3 months dropped 20lbs and changed her body dramatically. People around her were so impressed they began to ask her to train them and so she got certified through I.F.P.A. and began her to help others change their bodies with the same enthusiasm she used to change her own. Her long background as a massage therapist helped her understand body mechanics thoroughly and to understand how to work with a variety of people with different physical ailments.
In 2008 Jen took her own body building to the next level and competed in the Hayward NPC championship figure competition and placed 7th in the 35-45 year old category. Today, 10 years after becoming a personal trainer Jen finds continuing joy and motivation instructing clients and continuing to do massage therapy. She loves to train a variety of different clients whoâ€™s needs vary from major weight loss to refining physique for swimsuit modeling.
