Like most kids growing up in New York in the 70â€™s Gamal was a huge fan of Bruce Lee. Gamal began studying martial arts and holds a Black Sash in 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung-Fu from Oritz Chinese Boxing, and has also studied Wing Chun & Escrima. He has been certified as a personal trainer since 1997 and is currently certified through AFAA and NASM. In 2005 he travelled to Thailand and received his certification in Thai Massage from The Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai. In 2012 he received his TRX certification.
Gamal has established his own personal & group training service called FourCore Fitness, based on four principals; functionality, effectiveness, innovation and personal attention. His experience gives him the skills to work with almost any population although he specializes in working with clients faced with the challenge of weight loss, and those interested in sports specific and high intensity training.
