With a long background in gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, tennis and classical ballet for 8 years under the Royal Academy of Dance Emily is now a Certified Personal Trainer through NPTI & ACE, a Fitness Nutrition Coach through NESTA and a Mat Pilates Instructor through Body in Flow. In her previous career as a professional photographer in Manhattan, Emily realized how difficult and frustrating it can be to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle in conjunction with a full work schedule. From this experience as a busy urban professional she crafted her own style of training to create the most efficient and effective workouts possible through functional and high intensity interval training.
For clients looking to relieve joint pain due to a muscle imbalance or re-introduce exercise after an injury, Emily has first hand experience in these techniques after bring involved in a car accident that put her out of commission for over seven months. Emily loves finding new ways to make exercise fun yet challenging. She teaches a variety of group classes, including Power Pilates, BodyBlast, spin and kickboxing!
