What is HIIT? High Intensity Interval Training is a training style that alternates short bursts of high intensity, all-out effort exercise followed by brief intervals of rest or active recovery. What people love about our HIIT Bootcamp is that itâ€™s fast and very effective! You can squeeze an effective workout into 30 minutes and you get all the benefit of a an hour or longer workout. Not only will it accelerate fat loss and improve aerobic endurance this class will increase lean muscle cause your body to shed fat in much less time than â€śtraditionalâ€ť training.
Once the 30 minute timer starts, each participant will complete as many rounds of the customized routine as you are able. Mike carefully crafts each exercise to match what the student is able to do safely and effectively. Using a series of wide, soft pieces of fabric students are suspended a foot or more off the floor to create a super supportive but compression-free body position that enables each person to immediately stretch further and more comfortably than ever before. Using strength training, yoga and Pilates positions participants experience fantastic back pain relief, very effective core and upper body work outs and a highly variable degree of resistance training. This class is unique in that it can be as difficult or as gentle as the student wishes it to be. It is an excellent way to rehab shoulder, back, knee and hip injuries.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 6 students.
